Hot Chip: Out at the Pictures
This is really quite a bit of old news, but I've had an unbelievable love affair with the last Hot Chip album ever since it's release. Not terribly surprising, I know, but I wanted to share this song. It's got lots of get-up-and-go. And as a headphones listener, I really appreciate the amount of dimension in this track. There's something happening in every corner, and the song takes up more physical space than anything I've heard of recent. On this track, it the percussion really benefits from the space, adding a touch of drama to an otherwise repetitious number.
